This is a very good herd of dairy cattle that have been well bred for production. The herd is well timed for the sale w/15 cows recently fresh and another 18 cows being close springers. This is a very young herd w/over half the herd being in their 1st or 2nd lactation. Bulk tank receipts show a 75 lb. per cows average w/4.0% B.F. 3.0% P & an SCC in the 150-200,000 range. This herd is not pushed for production w/no TMR feeding but will feature several young cows milking 80 to over 100 lbs. per day. The herd is housed in a tie stall barn & are accustomed to being left out for exercise. This has been a closed homebred herd for several years. All springing heifers are due between June 15 & July 15 and should make excellent herd replacements. All pertinent production, SCC & breeding info will be posted on sale day.
